⁶ Then he came to the gate that faced east and climbed its steps.^(A) He measured the threshold of the gate; it was 10 feet deep—the first threshold was 10 feet deep. ⁷ Each recess was about 10 feet^[a] long and 10 feet^[b] deep, and there was a space of 8¾ feet^[c] between the recesses.
